  FEKO 2020 Solver Selection Intermediate Examination

  • You will be required to score at least 60% of the total marks in each quiz, to complete the Examination and receive the certificate. Also note that you are allowed only 3 attempts in each quiz, so if unsuccessful in your first attempt, you should review the course content, read the questions more carefully and try to do better in the next two attempts. Your highest score among all 3 attempts will be considered. If the score is below 60% in all three attempts you cannot complete the examination. To do better in the exam please refer to the learning course

  • The aperture coupled patch antenna that was introduced in the 1st course serves as the basis for this interactive example. The model will be converted from its existing Multilayer Planar Green's Function construction into (1) a finite dielectric SEP model, (2) a finite dielectric FEM/MoM model and (3) a computationally more efficient FEM/MoM model using a hidden trick in Feko.

    You will be guided step-by-step and will be required to complete the steps on your own computer. A quiz will follow to check that you completed each step and obtained the correct results.
