Users can draw from their own experience with the software as well as the learning resources available through Altair to complete the certification. The Associate Certification is an untimed multiple-choice examination of 30 questions with a required 70% pass rate.

This certification covers using HyperMesh for Pre-Processing finite element simulation models, including model import and organization, geometry handling, shell meshing, midsurface and direct midmeshing, solid meshing, 1D meshing, and model and analysis setup.
